Lesson No 11. COUNSELLING ABNORMAL PEOPLE ‑ HOMOSEXUALS etc.

1.HOMOSEXUAL REVOLUTION

(a)   The so‑called "Gay" Liberation Movement has become another weapon in Satan's arsenal of attack on the family .

  (b) All Homosexual Males or Lesbian females have demon oppression or possession and NEED DELIVERANCE.  

(c) It is utterly condemned in the Bible

Lev 18:22 "`Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is

          detestable. (NIV)

2. FACTS ABOUT HOMOSEXUALS.

(a) THE AMERICAN HOMOSEXUAL COMMUNITY IS VERY STRONG, some even claiming as many as twenty million involved.

( i)  This has led recently to vocal and visible stands being made, like the inclusion in the American military.  They have  also taken to the streets and marching openly and unashamedly.  They claim to

want human rights and an end to discrimination against them.

(ii) They seek to be identified with other ethnic groups (such as Jews,Negros,etc.) All racial groups are equal under US Law, but a racial group is different from a group with a divergent LIFE STYLE. The colour of a skin  will not have destructive effects on a community, but a different life style will do so.  The Community has a duty to determine what life style is DANGEROUS and to take protective measures against it.

(b)  Homosexuals say " I cannot help my life‑style. I WAS BORN THAT WAY..."

(i) This NOT TRUE and does not square with the Bible account of creation

Gen 2:18 The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will   make a helper suitable for him." (NIV)

Gen 2:19 Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the   field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see   what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living  creature, that was its name. (NIV)            

Gen 2:20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and  all the beasts of the field. But for Adam no suitable helper was  found. (NIV)

Gen 2:21 So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while   he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the  place with flesh. (NIV)

Gen 2:22 Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the  man, and he brought her to the man. (NIV)

Gen 2:23 The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh;  she shall be called `woman,' for she was taken out of man."

God did NOT CREATE ADAM AND JAMES, but male and female in Adam and Eve.

(ii) Dr Charles SOCARIDES  (writing in the US Medical Journal) says : "  Homosexuality is NOT innate or inborn...it is a LEARNED PROCESS..."

TIME Magazine says : " Most experts in the field of Homosexual behaviour agree that Homosexuality is NOT the result of some kind of gene or hormone, or biological predisposition.  Homosexuals do NOT constitute a third sex.  They are full men and full women.  No scientist of any stature will be able to provide any proof that anyone is BORN Homosexual.  These people will willingly admit that there was a point in their lives when THEY CHOSE this life style"

(iii) The WORD OF GOD GIVES A STRONG CONDEMNATION TO HOMOSEXUALITY

Lev 18:22 "`Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is

          detestable. (NIV)

(Alternative Trans: "Homosexuality is ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN for it is an ENORMOUS SIN..."  Hebrew word used is instructive: ABOMINATION

     to`ebah ^8441^, "abomination; loathsome, detestable thing." Cognates of

 this word appear only in Phoenician and Targumic Aramaic. The word appears

 117 times and in all periods.

    First, to`ebah defines something or someone as essentially unique in the  sense of being "dangerous," "sinister," and "repulsive" to another

 When used with reference to God, this nuance of the word describes people, things, acts, relationships, and characteristics that are "detestable" to Him  because they are contrary to His nature. Things related to death and idolatry  are loathsome to God: "Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing" <Deut. 14:3>.

 People with habits loathsome to God are themselves detestable to Him: "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man  put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord  thy God" <Deut. 22:5>.                                        

     Second, to`ebah is used in some contexts to describe pagan practices and objects: "The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire; thou shalt  not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest  thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the Lord thy God. Neither  shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house..." <Deut. 7:25‑26>. If Israelites are guilty of such idolatry, however, their fate will be worse than exile: death by stoning <Deut. 17:2‑5>.

     Third, to`ebah is used in the sphere of jurisprudence and of family or  tribal relationships. Certain acts or characteristics are destructive of societal and familial harmony; both such things and the people who do them ..  he that soweth discord among brethren" <Prov. 6:16‑19>. God says, "The scorner  is an abomination to men" <Prov. 24:9> because he spreads his bitterness  among God's people, disrupting unity and harmony.

(iv) SCRIPTURE ALSO ATTACKS PERVERTED SEX

Lev 18:23 "`Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself    with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have  sexual relations with it; that is a perversion. (NIV)

(v) IT IS SEEN CLEARLY AS A RESULT OF DELIBERATE SIN IN NOT WANTING GOD:

     Romans 1:25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and    served created things rather than the Creator‑‑ who is   forever praised. Amen. (NIV)

     Romans 1:26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even  their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.                 (NIV)

     Romans 1:27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with  women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men   committed indecent acts with other men, and received in

   themselves the due penalty for their perversion. (NIV)

     Romans 1:28 Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. (NIV)

(c) THEY TALK OF THE HOMOSEXUAL LIFE AS "GAY" WHEN IT IS REALLY TRAGIC 

(i) They like to talk of a "Gay" Community, meaning "happy" or "Carefree" when nothing is further from the truth

(ii) JUDGE MURTAGH in his book ("Cast the First Stone") says that 50% of SUICIDES in big cities can be attributed to HOMOSEXUALITY

Dr MERVIN ANCHELL MD (a practising Psychiatrist) points out that the

Homosexual relationship SELDOM SATISFIES and they are basically LONELY PEOPLE.

(d) THEY ASK TO BE LEFT ALONE TO PRACTICE THEIR LIFE STYLE

(i) While they plead it is only among "consenting adults", recent cases have involved children, and even Boy Scout leaders.  One recently arrested, was found guilty of Homosexual acts with TWENTY SIX BOYS between the ages of 8 and 15 years old.

(ii)  Homosexuals prey on others outside their life style and pervert them.

(iii) WARNING; Homosexuals have their own dictionary to explain the meaning of terminology they use and seven pages of that book is given over to instruction on HOW TO SEDUCE A CHILD !

(iv) They falsely claim "Once Gay, ALWAYS Gay", when people HAVE BEEN SET FREE FROM THIS LIFE STYLE by the power of God !  

3.FALSE IDEAS

(a) They falsely aver " I am a Homosexual (or Lesbian) AND A CHRISTIAN AT THE SAME TIME..."  Some even wear T Shirts with "God loves Gays" or " The Lord is my Shepherd, He knows I am GAY"

(b) God loves all mankind #certainly, and gave His Son for them

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that

          whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Isaiah 53:6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his   own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.            (NIV)

1 Tim 2:3 This is good, and pleases God our Saviour, (NIV)

1 Tim 2:4 who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the

          truth. (NIV)

Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honour because he suffered death, so that by the  grace of God he might taste death for everyone. 1 John 2:2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but   also for the sins of the whole world. (NIV)

BUT THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT HE CONDONES PEOPLE GOING ON IN SIN. 

(c) GOD CLEARLY TEACHES THAT THIS LIFE STYLE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO HIM FOR  CHRISTIANS : 

1 Cor 6:9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God?    Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor     adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders (NIV)

1 Cor 6:10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor    swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. (NIV)

1 Cor 6:11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were  sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ   and by the Spirit of our God. (NIV)

Unholy people shall NOT inherit the Kingdom of God and He points out that this   may have been the life‑style of some Corinthians BEFORE SALVATION, but this is now something that they only did in TIME PAST. IT HAS NOW BEEN CHANGED BY THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT.

(d) THERE MUST BE A CHANGE OF LIFE STYLE WHEN A PERSON IS CONVERTED

2 Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old  has gone, the new has come! (NIV)

Lev 18:2 "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: `I am the LORD your God.

Lev 18:3 You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you   must not do as they do in the land of Caanan, where I am bringing   you. Do not follow their practices. (NIV)

Lev 18:4 You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees. I am the   LORD your God. (NIV)

Lev 18:6 "`No one is to approach any close relative to have sexual relations.           I am the LORD. (NIV)

Lev 18:17 "`Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter.    Do not have sexual relations with either her son's daughter or her   daughter's daughter; they are her close relatives. That is     wickedness. (NIV)

Lev 18:18 "`Do not take your wife's sister as a rival wife and have sexual      relations with her while your wife is living. (NIV)

Lev 18:19 "`Do not approach a woman to have sexual relations during the        uncleanness of her monthly period. (NIV)

Lev 18:22 "`Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is

          detestable. (NIV)

Lev 18:23 "`Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself   with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have  sexual relations with it; that is a perversion. (NIV)

Lev 18:24 "`Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how   the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled.

Lev 18:25 Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the  land vomited out its inhabitants. (NIV)

Lev 18:26 But you must keep my decrees and my laws. The native‑born and the   aliens living among you must not do any of these detestable things,

Lev 18:27 for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land   before you, and the land became defiled. (NIV)

Lev 18:28 And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out   the nations that were before you. (NIV)

Lev 18:29 "`Everyone who does any of these detestable things‑‑ such persons   must be cut off from their people. (NIV)

Lev 18:30 Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs  that were practised before you came and do not defile yourselves   with them. I am the LORD your God.'" (NIV)

Prov 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.             (NIV) 

(e) OTHER CONTRIBUTORY FACTORS TO HOMOSEXUALITY INCLUDE;

(i) Home with a dominant mother and weak,recessive father

(ii) Mother always tearing down the image of the father 

(iii) Mother with anti‑male attitude#.  The son grows up, unable to relate to a strong male figure, but feels he wants to identify with the strong mother and  so inclines towards becoming a woman (More prevalent in homes with female leadership which is NOT according to Scripture)                          

(iv) Commercial world, cashing in on Homosexual movement and advertising it for their own ends "UNISEX" clothing, hair styles and even a demand for Unisex washrooms and toilets !  This is AGAINST GOD'S CLEAR WORD AS WE HAVE SEEN

(v) WARNING: We now have Homosexual" Churches  ", "Ministers" and even "Marriages" enabling them to adopt children.  This will bring a HOMOSEXUAL  TEACHING TO THE YOUNG CHILD !

(f) QUESTIONABLE MEDICAL ADVANCES

Romans 1:27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with   women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed     indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due     penalty for their perversion. (NIV)

(i) There is NOW THE DISEASE OF A.I.D.S. ( ACQUIRED Immunity Deficiency Syndrome ) which comes as a result of wrong intercourse and is DOES AWAY WITH NATURAL  PROTECTION FROM DISEASES, WITH FATAL RESULTS FOR MILLIONS !   

(ii) The Homosexuals are no longer acceptable for BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS (3 injected babies died in Australia) and THERE IS NO KNOWN CURE FOR THIS DISEASE. (Dr Ken Mc All has seen results only from those who have repented and broken hereditary links with this sin !)

(g) THIS SPIRITUAL ATTACK OF THE DEVIL UPON THE FAMILY, IS LEADING TO DEATH.

(i) Even heterosexual people are now being affected by this widespread disease

(ii) ANTICHRIST may soon emerge as the ULTIMATE HOMOSEXUAL

Daniel 11:37 Neither shall he regard the gods of his fathers, nor the desire    of women, nor regard any god; for he shall magnify himself above              all. (ASV)
